As a University lecturer, I take a holistic approach to teaching and learning and I have seen my contribution in shaping the world view of young students of Law into resourceful dynamic lawyers, something that gives me outstanding satisfaction. My two years’ experience as a Legal Officer at the Ministry of Defense enabled me to positively contribute towards essential research that shaped key policies in the sector that is charged with peace and stability of our country. In particular, am closely and proudly associated with the achievements of the Uganda Peoples Defense Forces.

Further, I have served in the capacity of Legal Manager at the Banana Industrial Research and Development Center, a successor entity of the Presidential Initiative on Banana Industrial Development, which has given me exposure to the Corporate and Government aspects in the working environment. I have also handled Board affairs of the institution with a wide exposure on governance issues. This has harnessed my ability to work under pressure, multi-task, harness interpersonal skills and general professional development.

I have also served as the Legal Manager at the Banana Industrial Research and Development Center, a successor entity of the Presidential Initiative on Banana Industrial Development, a role that provided me with valuable exposure to both corporate and Government operations within the professional environment. In addition, I was actively involved in managing the institution’s Board affairs, which deepened my understanding of governance-related matters. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities effectively and enhanced my interpersonal and overall professional skills.

During my study for Masters Degree in International Business Law, I was exposed to extensive knowledge on the law and policies that underpin International Trade and the area of cross-border legal practice as my topic of my dissertation.

I am also graduate of the Chartered Secretaries Qualifying Scheme at the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), UK. From this course, I gained knowledge, skills and experience on wide-ranging responsibilities as a governance professional.

I also possess the ability to lead. I was a Class Representative to the University Guild throughout the four years of my under graduate studies and was again appointed in that capacity at Masters Level.
