Rev. Wilfred Tuusubira/Board Chair
Mr. Wilfred Tusuubira is currently the Managing Director of Hopeteam Foundation Ltd, a private business firm involved in Events Management and Financial services. He has previously worked with SNV-Netherlands Development Organisation as Management Advisor. He worked at Uganda Management Institute as Training Coordinator for the Global Distance Learning Center and also with Urban Authorities Association of Uganda as Training Officer. He taught Education Administration the National Teachers College, Nkozi. He holds a Master of Education, a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and a Postgraduate Diplomas in Management. He is married with 4 children.
Mrs. Susan K. Lubaale
Susan K. Lubaale is a Research, M&E and Project Management Specialist with over 10 year experience implementing interventions in: HIV/AIDS, malaria, child survival, reproductive health and maternal health through the private sector in Uganda. Susan currently spearheads field implementation of maternal health interventions by Program for Accessible health Communication and Education Services (PACE) across Uganda. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Sociology, Bachelors’ degree in Social Sciences and postgraduate training in Research Methods and Analysis for Public Health Programs. Susan has also trained in Marketing and Communication skills.
Prof. Mnason Tweheyo, PhD
Tweheyo is currently a Professor and Dean School of Forestry, Environmental and Geographical Sciences in College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Makerere University. He teaches, supervises students and is natural resources, environmental and agricultural consultant. He has published more than twenty-five papers in international peer reviewed journals, a book and chapter in the book. He has presented more than 10 papers in international conferences, has been a facilitator in more than ten workshops and won more than 15 grants and an international award in conservation. Tweheyo has supervised more than 20 masters and seven PhDs. Tweheyo has a wider experience in leadership, policy, climate changes, land use, food security, ecology and resource assessment, and administration. He has done research and consultant in seven countries. He is also involved in social and community activities and works with organizations that help children and vulnerable groups.
Mrs. Josephine Kasaija
Josephine is an Organization Development Specialist with extensive experience in program development and management, facilitating organizational reviews/assessments and development, Training in Gender, Programme &, Partnership Development, and, Strategic Planning. She has research and documentation experience and has contributed to studies in Gender, HIV&AIDS, and Health. She has also written several manuals and training guides, such as: A Facilitators’ Guide on Coaching and Mentoring, Training Manuals and Handbooks with a focus on, HIV& AIDS, Gender, and Training of Trainers. Many of the organizations she has trained and supported have adapted a culture of reflection and continuous learning - and have embraced value adding strategies including partnership development, gender mainstreaming, team building processes, human resource planning. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Development Studies (Local and Regional Development), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), and, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences, Certificates in Organization Development, and, Administrative Law.
Rev./Dr. Ricky Byaruhanga
Rev./Dr. Ricky Byaruhanga, is an ENT Surgeon. He currently works as an honorary lecturer at the School of Medicine, Makerere University and also works at a number of clinics in Kampala. He holds a Master of Medicine in ENT, MBchB and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery.
Canon Absolom N. Bwesigye
Mr. Absorom Nabisiima Bwesigye is pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration, Atlantic International University, Hawai, USA. He has a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, Advanced diploma of Purchasing and supplies, and Diploma of Business studies. He is currently the Director of Operations at Powernet Eletrical Installations ltd. He previously served as a Regional Manager Umeme ltd and Auditor Assistant, Uganda Electricity, board
Mrs. Dora K. Musinguzi
Dora Kiconco Musinguzi, is a women and health rights activist and a practicing human rights lawyer for the last 15 years. She is the Executive Director of UGANET, a social Justice Organization Focusing on Health, HIV and Gender equality.
She passionately believes in the power of NOW - joining power with a community of thought leaders to ignite the much needed change today in the social, legal and health context of Development in Uganda.
Dora Kiconco Musinguzi is a feminist leader, a mother and gardener.
Her name means ‘Gift to the world’ and hopes she becomes one. She wants to be known as one who nurtured – people and plants.
She is a practicing human rights lawyer and advocate. She is passionate about causes that mobilize social leadership and exploit law and legal policy to drive transformation and equity.
Dora, for the past 10 years is the Executive Director of UGANET - an organization that promotes HIV, health and gender justice in Uganda. Together with her team of 30, connecting with allies and the power of many, believe they can change the world- and this is her daily pursuit.
Dr. Julian K. Bagyendera
Dr. Julian K. Bagyendera is a Project Management and M&E Specialist with over 25 years of work experience in: HIV/AIDS, population, reproductive health, gender mainstreaming and integration, Orphans and other Vulnerable Children, advocacy, private/public partnerships, climate change, agriculture, capacity building and community development. Experienced in managing complex programs with multiple implementers and funding agencies, particularly: USAID, UNAIDS, UNFPA, CDC, EU, DOD, US Embassy, Pearce Corps, Proctor and Gamble, DFID, DANIDA, SIDA, Italian Corporation, Irish Aid and Rockefeller Foundation. She is currently the Executive Director for P&E. She previously worked as a Chief of Party for the Civil Society Fund, Monitoring and Evaluation Agent, M&E Program Director /Deputy Chief of Party, Senior M&E Technical Advisor, M&E Coordinator, M&E Manager and M&E Specialist. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Project Management; a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelors’ degree in Social Sciences. She is skilled in numerous computer applications including; Microsoft office packages, SPSS, STATA, GIS Mapping and SQL Server / Access databases.
